LITTLE WING GUY'S PROFILE

I may have little wings, but I have a big dick heart.

Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

A Mapping contest!

author=Liberty
Why not just have a set theme instead. That way we can have the flexibility of using what graphics we like but still be sort of similar. I vote a type of dungeon or town or just something simple that everyone can interpret differently.

Just want to highlight that again.

Tau, are you thinking brownie points for atmosphere and making the map interactive, or will this be a straight up post a screenshot deal? I'd definitely prefer to download and play all the maps like last time.

Also, welcome back =)

Oh, well that's shit! All that you missed was a cutscene in a town afterward. Needless to say, I won't be fixing it. Cheers for playing.

I'm Starting to Feel Kinda Nauseous.........

Lack of motivation eh? Just think about all the tons of extra work and fix ups you're going to have to do after all us beta testers send in their notes. Fun, fun, fun!

Now c'mon, chop chop! =)

The totally 100% unofficial RMN awards!

For fun or not, no good will come from your second negative list, why do you need it? I certainly wouldn't vote on any of that. Sorry.

I like topics on your first list though, like most helpful member etc.

Vindication

I've been playing the 2.4 version of this and, before I knew it an hour passed. I'm rolling my eyes and some parts (evil evil evil) but I'm getting the unexpected chuckle. I also liked the intro a lot!

I'll try and get around to reviewing this one day, once I get further in. Since the updates, this is definitely not a one star game.

Spiral Knights

Add "Littlewingguy" if you want to play with me.

I think it's quite fun. Very simple, easy to pick up and play. It's got the Zelda vibe of picking up pots and chopping grass, but I'd compare the gameplay to Gauntlet with cute robots more than anything else.

Game Drive?

Hey!

I was just wondering if anyone is still participating in Sam's Game Drive event. It hasn't been updated or mentioned in ages, I don't think he's been around for a while, and I wanted to see who's given up and who's still going. I've been working on mine quiet a lot!

I don't want to steal Sam's thunder or anything, I just want a head count and maybe an update from you guys. Oh! And incase anyone has forgotten, the deadline is June 1st!

Is grinding a flaw in rpgs?

I really liked Lost Odyssey for the way it handled levelling up. It dished out a single level to every character for each battle below the optimum level for a dungeon, further levelling up first slowed down drastically, and eventually came to a stand still after a couple of levels. It never let you get too far ahead or fall too far behind. I felt that there was a consistent level of difficulty.

I'm really not all that great at most RPGs though, and I find I need to grind a fair few times. I found a lot of bosses in Final Fantasy XIII bloody difficult. I like what the game tried to do but grinding should be an option in case you need it, it should neither be taken away, or forced on you.

Platform change, Project refocus

Will you upload what you've made in 2k3? Or is there not enough playable content?

The perspective of the table and chair seems a little off, but I won't lost sleep over it. It all looks really cool otherwise!
